Be pleasant in manner, cheerful in face, kind in speech, easygoing, and gentle in nature.
Treat people with kindness and ease, and do not be harsh in showing your superiority over them. Overlook their faults and pardon their mistakes.Comfort them in their hardships, mend their hearts, and help them as much as you can. For Allah has made forbidden to the Fire every gentle, easygoing person who is close to people.
Adhere to good character, for it raises its possessor to the rank of one who fasts and prays at night. It is the shortest path by which your ranks are elevated, your scales are made heavy, and you attain the pleasure of Allah and the love of people.
