Saving Money
If God has blessed you with wealth, do not waste it on excessive shopping and entertainment, nor spend extravagantly on unnecessary luxuries. Rather, save it for times of need and hardship.
How often does a person find themselves without a source of income—after losing a job, falling ill, growing old, or facing a calamity affecting themselves or their child, such as disability or paralysis?
So, save your money for such difficult days. In doing so, you preserve your dignity by not having to ask others for help, and you protect your children, as much as possible, from poverty and hardship.
And give some of it in charity, so that you may earn reward, and so that God may bless what remains.
