Cleanliness and Order

Maintain the cleanliness of your body and your clothing. Comb your hair and keep your appearance neat. It is not from the Sunnah to be unkempt or to wear dirty and worn-out clothes when Allah has given you better. Rather, displaying blessings and being grateful for them is encouraged in Islam.

Let your inner self be as clean as your outward appearance. Strive to purify your soul and cleanse your heart from spiritual diseases, and your deeds from sins and wrongdoing.

Also, take care to keep your home and your surroundings clean, as this brings joy and comfort to you and others. Do not throw waste or pollute the environment, spreading sadness and illness.

Remember that purification is half of faith, and removing harm from the road is a branch of it and a cause for entering Paradise.
